Project Status: EP 66-198 25X1A5a1 25X1A5a1 The manpower loading of the project is behind schedule. As a result only about 25;j' of the planncd work to date has been accomplished. However, the situation is improving rapidly. Before I had left, the General manager of the laboratories told me the AR/A-18 was given top priority for staff- ing and by Tuesday (23 August) there were three more engineers assigned to the project. One more engineer will put us at full strength. This next reporting period should show a significant jwnp in progress. 25X1A5a1 The specification for the IIF receiver which is a part of the AR/A-18 receiving station has been completed. Requests for quotes will be mailed lionday (29 August) to three companies: ' 25X1A5a1 roposa s are due two weeks from the preproposal conference.
