The Fiscal Year 1967 Stock Procurement Program has progressed as follows: Funds Committed Category 25X1A1a Category Allotment During October Total to Date General Stock R&D Services 7179-4000 SPS, R&D Services 7179-4300 Other 2. Major communications equipment placed on order during the month included the following significant items: Spare Parts Kit, Kahn LSSB-631A $28,769 Rack, AK-3 Generators, 50KW 38,835 Receiver, CEI Model AR-101 8,000 3. The directive from DDS curtailing expenditure of funds .no (except requirements related to the Viet-Nam War effort) resulted f 100 GE Porta- in withdrawing a requisition for the procurement o Mobils with accessories plus a request for fifteen 3KW Transmitters for the FY67 Equipment Program. In addition a requisition for assembling and pre-wiring ten rack mounted field stations (by an outside contractor) is being held in abeyance until some later date. The latest information from the Army (27 September 1966) was that production was halted temporarily for some change in design, and delivery schedules would be delayed about two months.
