The FY 1966 passed in a relatively quiet manner re both stock
procurement and R&D expenditures. The.last minute bulk stock pro-
curements are handled in a very routine (?) manner now that we are
experienced!
We still have four engineer applicants who have not turned down
employment with us. We are in daily contact with OC-A on the status
of each. OC-A is, in turn, in contact with the Office of Personnel
and the individual..
Of interest, the CIFAX system was operated the entire month sans
trouble. In addition the KY-3 network appears to be settling down
although we are very active installing and relocating subscribers'
sets.

The cost per set is 1,769.01 with $883.01 GFE and 8 .00 materials
and labor.
