SUBJECT: Trip Report - Tn- se Modulator AT-11
DATE:25 January 1963
1. Project Description:
This task provides for the design and development of a
High-Speed Tri-Phase Modulator for fixed station use. The
unit will be designed to accept information in the form of
standard teletype punched paper tape and provide a tri-phase
signal output capable of driving any standard class "C" or other
less efficient transmitter. The output will be between 2 and
8 mcs with an adjustable output level of up to 5 watts across
a 50 ohm load. There will be six crystal controlled channels
and on YJO input.

7. Project Status:
The contractor has almost completed the fabrication of
the first deliverable AT-11 engineering model and expects to
meet the scheduled delivery date of 31 January. The only
possible delay in this delivery date will be caused by late
delivery on a Ferranti tape reader. This unit has been prom-
ised for delivery several times, but has still not been
received from the sub-contractor. The fabrication of the
second AT-11 engineering model is proceeding and the scheduled
delivery date of 31 March is expected to be met.
