1. Mr. Haney (who recently returned from. France) led a discussion
on Eurovision and answered questions concerning the nature of programs,
operating difficulties, and future potentialities of this setup.
2. Copies of a TPIB paper on interchangeability of TV receivers
designed for East or West European standards,. prepared at COBAT's
request, were distributed to the members of the Committee. The
Chairman of TPIB agreed that this paper would be periodically kept
up to date for COBAT.
3. A final working draft of the paper on Luropean television was
distributed by the OCB Staff Representative for staffing in the various
agencies before the next meeting, at which time the version to go to
the Board Assistants will be finalized.
4, The next meeting was called for Monday, March 12 at 2 P.M.
