3. I met with Mr. McCone this morning per his request and discussed a few items:

contractor had agreed to give priority attention to the space for the Records
Integration Division, and that I felt it would be ready in time to meet our

schedule. He also wanted to know when he was going to move, and I told

7. Jim Garrison called to say that he was having trouble in the procurement of

8. Stan Grogan was up to tell me that he had had a conference with the Director
at which time he had discussed the case of who wanted to run for office in
some local municipality. According to Stan the Director was firm in his decision that
CIA employees could not run for office. Inasmuch as the Office of Security has approved
this case and Larry Houston now has it for consideration, I should pass this on to them
without delay.
