Dear Bruce,
As you know, I are using this type of
helmet for all of their flying. They are very firm in their opinion
that this is the best manner in which to fly with the pressure suit;
other pilots prefer the system as it is currently configured without
the mask. As a result these are the only two pilots using this type
of equipment.
has only one such helmet arrangement available to him.
We wou x e him to have a second back-up helmet for obvious reasons.
To my knowledge there were originally six helmets made for this
arrangement. The original Purchase Order stated that one was for
I land the remainder for Detachment use.
There are presently fivel nd we would like one of these to
be assigned tol as his back-up helmet.
