1965. They are Penelope Hartland Thunberg, named with great fan
,fare last week to fill a vacancy on the U. S. Tariff Commission, Aii
leen Hernandez, on the Equal Opportunity Commission, and Patrici
Roberts Harris, new Ambassador to Luxembourg. But in the first
j two weeks of July, two women left important Government posts - -Di
Mary I. Bunting from the Atomic Energy Commission and Dr. Leo
Baumgartner from the Agency for International Development. Note
Among the women being considered as next U. S. Treasurer is Mar
juvenile court and a, JFK appointee. JudgeLawson is a Negro. :
