OER~DDI, (x5018} came down to ask what
arrangements we can make for a speaker to address the Daniel
25X1A9a J. O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia, on the
subject of CIA functions and responsibilities.
Timothy, the son of our employee is chairman of the
Speakers Bureau of the Student Council which is sponsoring
this request. There are some 1500 students, boys and girls,
in the school.. The date for the speech would be at our
convenience, sometime between now and Christmas, or even the
beginning of the year. The assemblies usually last ab out ~+5
minutes.
25X1 Aga thougk~t that such a speech would improve
CTA's image in certain areas, would have certain recruitment
value, and would help these students explain what CIA does
when they go on to college.
