Thank you for the series of fine
articles concerning Communist in-
filtration in our CIA and State De-
partment. After the dismal inabili-
ty to handle Castro, and particular-
ly after the Bay of Pigs fiasco, I am
sure many people felt there must
be a stronger reason than incom-
petence for these failures.
I am just curious why Otto Otep-
ka, a man who was dedicated to
his country and brave enough to
expose this treason, was fired so
quickly, and these accused spie^
