Attorney Lytton H. Gibson, who
represents the applicant for a tower
apartment at Merrywood, said that
in assembling information to pre-
sent his case, he needed to know
the numbers of workers in the new
CIA headquarters at Langley. One
effort after another to gather the
information from Government
sources was unsuccessful.
Finally, Mr. Gibson asked his sec-
retary to call the Soviet Embassy
in Washington.
Mr. Gibson reported to the
County Planning Commission on
Monday that his secretary. was in-
formed that CIA is the second
largest office building in the world,
