Dear Jim,
This letter confirms our telecall of 9 August 1966
and authorizes you "go-ahead" with the purchase of one (1)
each System Control Logic in accordance with EMft System
Performance Spec 1940-SPS-1 "Vehicle Subsystem", dated 18 Dec-
ember 1964 as revised. This procurement would be against
Contract No. PH--7322,
Request you furnish a firm price quote and delivery
schedule within 60 days. Prior to negotiation we should
agree as to the manner in which we will use a pricing formula.

SUBJECT: Procurement of One (1) Each System Control
Logic (SCL) - Contract FH-7322
:Dear Chuck,
Reference is made to our previous intra-Air Force
discussions and to those discussions with the contractor re-
garding this subject. We request that you authorize the con-
tractor to procure and deliver one (1) each additional System
Control Logic, in accordance with EMR System Performance
Specification 1940-SPS-1, "Vehicle Subsystem", dated
18 December 1964 as revised, for our program. Upon deli$TATINTL
ery, this SCL should be shipped to the Project Support Office
unless otherwise directed in the meantime. I has
budgeted for this additional buy under the production contract.
We recommend that you obtain a firm price quotation and de-
livery schedule because the estimated price and delivery
schedule noted on the attachment, given to us by the contractor,
is only budgetary in nature. Firm price and delivery schedule
of this additional item will be as negotiated by you and the SPO.
