He was 52., Mr. Castle's career with the CIA, where he served in various capaci- ties, began in 1949. lie was born in Washington and graduated from St. Al- :ban's School in 11932. He graduated from George .I Washington University in 19491 and the Naval War College at Newport in 1955. Mr. Castle was interested in gardening and spent a lot of time growing flowers and shrubs at his seven-acre home at 6900 Oxon Hill rd,, Oxon; Hill, Md.
