1. (Unclassified - JGO) Talked to Mr. Bernard Martin,
Legislative Division, Bureau of the Budget, who advised that although
all comments had been received from interested agencies and depart-
ments and none having takenexception to our proposals, the comments
are still processing in the interested offices of BOB. He will attempt
to clear our bill as soon as possible but was not able to provide a date
on which we might expect Bureau clearance.
2. (Confidential'- JGO) Met with Mr. Philip Kelleher, House
Armed Services Committee staff, and arranged with him to pick up
the transcript of the Director's briefing of the full Armed Services
Committee of 7 March. The transcript will be retained by the Agency
for safekeeping subject to the call of the Chairman or members of the
Committee.
