DULLES: "We called it that, I think I invented the name, be- ause I am a little pessimistic at times, and I think if you give a hink a nice, bright name you're much more likely to 'succeed than f you give it a drab name. "I had a very distinguished example for that, because that was hurchill's idea', you know. Churchill invented these marvelous for operations, Vanguard and Torch, and beautiful words...." GROEBLI: "Yes." DULLES: "...and I thought, give it a good name and maybe you've of a chance. It was a very tough operation and we needed all the vantages we could have.
