HE PRESENTED HIS GOVERNMENT AS JUST A LITTLE LESS THAN THE PROMOTER OF THE INVASION, AND, STRANGE BUT TRUE., AFFIRMED CURIOUSLY ENOUGH THAT WHAT HAPPENED AT PLAYA GIRON WAS ''A TACTICAL DEFEAT, BUT BY MAKING AN INVENTORY OF THE RESULTS OBTAINED, IT CAN BE SEEN THAT IT WAS TRUE VICTORY, LIKE THE NAVAL BATTLE OF JUTLANI) BETWEEN THE GERMANS AND BRITISH IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR.*"" REFERRING FURTHER TO THE STATEMENTS MADE BY THE GUATEMALAN PRESIDENT TO THE EFFECT THAT, AFTER THE INVASION, THE WAR MONGERING ACTIVITIES BY CASTRO OUTSIDE CUBA HAD CEASED., THE PAPER SAYS: "SENIOR YDIGORAS DISTORTS THE TRUTH, AS IS HIS WANT.
