Press, and the Rev, Dr. Gordon
Palmer, Los Angeles, former presi-
dent of the Eastern Baptist Theo-
logical Seminary.
Dr. Johnson also conferred de-
grees upon the graduates of the va-
rious schools of the university, A
bachelor of science in pharmacy was
awarded posthumously to Jack
Jones, of Dunmore, Pa., an honor
student until,tis death in April.
Jones was V president of the

school class and had
been on the: aUi an,s list for more
than three years, Before going to.
Temple he was a staff sergeant at-
tached to Gen. Douglas MacArthur's
staff in Japan.
