SUBJECT Time Schedule for Processing External
Contract Actions
1. Significant progress has been made in the
last year or two in accelerating the time schedule
within the fiscal year for processing contract pro-
posals. Continuation of this emphasis with further
progress toward an objective of completing all planned
contract actions by 31 March is necessary.
2. In the current year therefore it is urged
that in planning schedules for program execution
maximum effort be given to attaining the objective
of completing all paper work for programmed contract
actions sufficiently in advance of 31 March 1967 to
permit submission of requests to Logistics by that
date.
