MEMORANDUM FOR: Chief, Administrative Staff. DD/S&T
SUBJECT: Establishment of a BCO/TCO Center
O/FMSAC/DD/S&T
1. It is requested that a BCO/TCO Center be established
in FMSAC for the receipt and delivery of M and T-KH material.
2. At the present time, documents and other related materials,
that are in the _ and T-KH channels, for FMSAC are received
and dispatched by the DD/S&T Registry. The volume has increased
in such magnitude that the Registry is being "bogged down" to
where our primary responsibility to the O/DD/S&T is being seriously
hampered.
3. FMSAC will also benefit by this action for many obvious
reasons. Times, in many cases, is of the essence. This element
of time will be satisfied considerably if FMSAC had direct courier
service.
4. Soonest action on this request would be appreciated by
all concerned.
