SUBJECT: AFL 44-15 Dated 24 April 1962 - Entitled "Standards of
Conduct for Experts and Consultants"
1. This references subject document and an accompanying Statement
of Employment and Financial Interests forwarded to you by this office
under date of 25 April 1962.
2. A review of your statement of Employment and Financial Interests
has now been completed by appropriate USAF/DOD authorities. Based
thereon, you are currently considered to be a wholly acceptable
Expert and Consultant in your official capacity and association with
the USAF Scientific Advisory Board. An assessment of the estimated
number of days you will work for the Government during the coming
year evidences that you will fall below the 40% provision. Accord-
ingly, you will be considered a Government employee only'on those
days on which actual service is performed.
3. As a reminder, a Statement of Employment and Financial Interests
will again have to be executed by you at the close of this calendar
year and every six months thereafter for the duration of your
appointment on the SAB. This is necessary in aid of maintaining
appropriate records and possible redetermination on behalf of any
significant changes in your employment (private and Government) and
financial interests. The Secretariat will provide you with necessary
information, and forms will be sent in advance of each of the above
cited resubmission dates.
