Approved For RelearW2002/05/06 : CIZE &1341 R00014W070067-3 i ~' DIARY NOTES A-DD/S 19 May 1966 1. John Bross is going to contact Howard Osborn on the damage assessment of the Johnson case. This is in connection with presentation to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board. w 25X1A 3. Bud Wheelon talked to and outlined the job to him. It closely resembles an executive o, 1cer an is part of a complete re- organization of OSA. Brad will have Finance, Audit, Logistics, Personnel, and Security under him, and, according to Brad, he will also have a dis- cussionary authority to report directly to Wheelon rather than through the Director of OSA. 4. I gave Col. White the three cases of summer employment applicants who were rejected on grounds of some psychiatric problem. I think that he is prepared to stand by the policy this year, but may want to take a different approach next year. 5. Bob Fuchs came in to defend the four promotions that he submitted the other day. I explained to him that I was reluctant to approve these pro- motions in your absence. It just doesn't look right to wait until you get out of town to pass through four senior promotions. I do agree, however, that all are appropriate and deserved, and will recommend your approval for them. 4iu.1 Approved For Release 2002/05/06 : CIS-REJ03 ;'9 67-3 I- M
