ce Memorandum ? UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Chief, Field Training., Operations School CI/CFA Contingency Force Program DATE: 28 September 1959. 1. The times as outlined in the proposed list of subjects represents a minimum possible to bring a group to any degree of proficiency. It is a certainty that some basics must be covered in some cases as a review and for others as an initial introduction to the subjects. While all of the personnel have had training or experience in PM Operations, it is very doubt- ful that a group of this size can be found with training experience in all phases of PM Operations. 2. The maximum number which the CFA Branch can handle regarding field exercises and practical work is fifteen students. The training area available for certain of the field problems is quite limited and much of this work must be conducted by small teams, therefore using a good portion of the entire base. 3. Any scheduling of this course must be contingent to prior commitments or arranged on a priority basis as not only the training area is limited, but also the training staff. It would also be desirable to have two weeks before starting one of these courses free for preparations, but in no case less than 25X1 A one week. Al]. of the scheduled instruction, with the exception of - and the Operations Course, are only tentative commitments and the dates are not firm. 25X1A Approved For Release 2900/09/IOOIMME-RDP63-00309AOObPIt00030023-8 HGD/rds Encl. 1 Proposed List of Subjects 1 Tentative List of Commitments Approved For Release 2000/09/13 : CIA-RDP63-00309A000100030023-8
