Mr. Ba d'announced that e released to the 25X1A9a new Space Ag icy for a minimum of six months to set up management practices and training for that agency. Matt was extremely pleased in that our had received such recognition; however, he knew that is job cut out for him, because old-line CAA has been taken under the wing of the new Space Agency and no doubt has its own traits and practices which will be hard to change. will be Acting Chief of the Intelligence School. 2. Mr. Baird announced that a notice had been prepared which would make external and internal requests for training automatically/ through his office. He was quite perturbed that many requests for training are coming from operators directly to instructors or others and stated that control and policy could not be effective under this method. He stated that there was a method for requesting training and it was formal and these requests must be in writing. 3.. Matt stated that audio counter surveillance as a course would probably be canceled and a two-day instruction in this field be added to other courses and/or provided on a tutorial basis. The details are being worked out. 4. mentioned that Chet Huntley's program last Sunday on NBC showed transistors that could be sewed in the material of a coat, other types the size of a match head, and still others equally as useful ~.~ 4of display. The surprising fact was that all of the display could be purchased commercially right on Times Square for a gross outlay of $600. It was determined that the film should be procured from NBC for class use. 5. All other items discussed were of minor importance and did not warrant recording.
