SUBJECT: Policy and Procedures for Overseas Handling, Processing
and Reporting on Photographic Results of AQUATONE
Operations Far East
1. Reference General Cabell's memorandum for the Director of
Intelligence, USAF, dated 23 April 1957, subject as above. 25X1A
2. In view of the immediate plans for activating AQUATONE in
the Far East, it is felt that the needs of the theater can best be met
through a joint arrangement such as provided by even though
the initial processing would take place in the U. S. 3. If and when field processing of AQUATONE materials is 25X1A
considered necessary, the existence of will provide a facility
for f the information on a timely basis. It is desirable
tha we initiate action to activate the Center now in order to have an
operational capability available as soon as possible. In view of the
above, it is our intention to activate -in accordance with the
