Aid Recipient Countries
ICA herewith provides a revised list of all countries receiving
technical,military,q economic., or financial assistance within the terms of
the Mutual Defense Assistance Control Act of 1951, Public Law 213. This
revision replaces EDAC D-111 of February 23., 1956. Military assistance is
interpreted to mean grant but not reimbursable assistance. Programs are
in the process of being established in Argentina, Burma, Morocco., and
Tunisia. If there are any questions of eligibility under the Battle Act,
for assistance to any of the listed countries it would be appropriate to
raise such questions or to make recommendations to the EDAC Chairman through
the EC or a Working Group.
