The Board of National Estimates has reviewed MEMORANDUM FOR THE INTELLIGENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SUBJECT: Release of NIE's to Foreign Governments NIE 83-56, "Probable Developments in Colombia," with a view to their release to foreign governments. 2. NIE 23-56. With respect to this estimate the Board notes b. The estimate refers to no specific intelligence sources, and does not compromise any NOFORN material for which this Agency is responsible. 3. NIE 88-56. With respect to this estimate the Board notes a. There has been a general reluctance in the past to release estimates on Latin America.
