The Chief, Production Staff, is responsible for
preparation, coordination, maintenance and supervision oftthe
all activities relating to m-
xe tse~ intelligence production,, s. of the Agency.
The Chief, Estimates and Production Staff, shall:
A. Allocate appropriate portions of the intelligence pro-
duction plan to the producing components of OIP and when
deemed necessary to other intelligence components of the
Federal Government.
B. Continuously review the production plan and the effective-
ness of production components and recommend necessary
adjustments where indicated.
C. Coordinate CIA generated requirements for information
having intelligence potential and issue collection
directives to appropriate collection facilities.:;o N-
D. Provide for integration of special intelligence in OIP
reports and estimates.
E. Review, coordinate and edit intelligence produced by OIP
and arrange for publication and dissemination.
F. Continuously review the organization and operations of
OIP to ensure fulfillment of assigned mission.
G. Continuously evaluate new methods and techniques for
intelligence production and recommend adoption where
appropriate.
