I wanted to take just a minute to commend the Agency
for the superb work it did in putting out National Strat-
egies and the Global Economy (U). All those who worked
on this project are to be commended.
I was so impressed with this study that I have urged
everyone on the S/P staff to read it. The challenges and
problems identified in this study, I believe, will tax
the ingenuity and innovativeness of all USG policymakers.
