1. The following is a report on photographic coverage of:
a. 177 priority targets in South China and North Vietnam;
b. Targets in Laos adjacent to the South China border;
c. Targets in the Sino-Indian border area.
South China/North Vietnam
2. During the reporting period, five targets were added and
four deleted from the priority list. The net result was an increase of
priority targets from 176 to 177. For details see Tab D.
3. One BLUE SPRINGS and three issions were 25X1
flown during the reporting period. According to field reporting, the
issions provided coverage of two priority targets in
North Vietnam. The field reports that owing to camera

and North Vietnam on which satisfactory base line/ surveillance coverage
has been obtained since 1 March 1966. No base line coverage was obtained

5. The number of times each target was satisfactorily covered is
shown in Tab A as well as the date of most recent satisfactory coverage
since 1 March 1966. This information is provided in order to record the
progress in obtaining base line coverage and the frequency in surveillance
of the priority targets in South China and North Vietnam.
6. The map at Tab B shows both high and low resolution coverage
reported as acquired on priority targets in South China/North Vietnam
since 16 August 1966.

The following provides details of the target changes in the
South China/North Vietnam priority list:
1. An Shun Airfield U/C - Airfield last covered
by KH-7 photography in early stages
of construction. Coverage of this airfield is now
required to determine construction progress.
2. Pei Hai Naval Facility and Pai Lung Port Facility -
These ports have been added as possible points for
shipment of supplies from China to Vietnam.
Lu Liang Storage Area - Newly identified by
4. Deng Dang-Ping Hsiang RR - This segment of
the rail line between Hanoi - Ping Hsiang has been
designated a separate target because it cannot be
covered by tactical reconnaissance.
1. Ching Hsi Probable Military Storage - Target
originally thought to be military associated. Current
information fails to identify military activity at this
target.
