In early Julzc 1955, the clothing supply depot II in Bernau was occupied by about 500 soldiers. Intensive vehicle traffic was observed. The trucks were loaded with clothing or laundry. Soviet dependents were also quartered at the installation. 2. In early August, the special office in Eberwalde began the planning for a further extension of the clothing depot II in Bernau in 1956. Most of the 2,000,000 DM-Fast previded for the Bernau post were to be used for construction work at clothing depot II. Rosengarten 3.
