le On 22 August, visual observation indicated that Wiener?.Neustadt
airfield had been evacuated by air units. Similar observation on 2+ August,
indicated that Parndorf airfield has also been evacuated.
2. On 22 August, Aspern airfield was evacuated by air unitsr.
omnant. All prior information indicated that there has been no
change in the strength of Soviet Air Force units in Akstria and that these
units would be the last to leave Austria.
