1. Road No. 68 - Szekszard - Siofok
The last reports of the Ministry of Communication in 1953 gave this road the
numbers 612 and 622. It has since been changed to No, 68.
First Section - Szeksz&rd m Zo a ,a - Xi j7 To - Katy.
This section is about 22,3 km.in length. It used to be
4 ma wide, with dirt tracks on either side. The road
has now been repaired and been given a macadam surface.
Trucks and busses use this road. It is reported in good
condition.

This section. is about 16 km. in length, 6 meters wide, and
has a good macadam surface.

Distancess Reg8lyi slag. Kistavapusztaai,5.2 km.
The whole section is about 15.4 km. in length, It is kept in
good repair and has a fairly good macadam surface.

The total length of this section is about 14.2 km. The
width of the road has been enlarged to 6 meters and the
roadsides too have been reconstructed, giving the road a
total width of 7.40 meters. It has a fairly good macadam
surface.

Fifth Section - Iregszemcse Simonmajor - Darinypaa A - level crossing -
Som - S&gvBr - Balatonkiliti - Siofok.
The length of this section is about 29 km. The road has
been widened to 6 meters,which9 with a one-meter track on
either sides makes the total width 8 meters. Two years ago
a new macadam surface had been put down but the road-bed was
not too we]1 constructed and could not carry heavy loads.
From Balatonkiliti the road has a concrete surface,
The Ministry of War has asked the Ministry of Communications to work out a
scheme for a complete reconstruction of this road.
2. Road No. 51 - Budapest - Baja - Yugoslav Frontier.
First Section - Budapest - Soroks&r - Dunaharszti - Taksony.
The road is 6 meters wide and has on each side tracks one meter
wide making the total road width 8 meters. It has a concrete
surface and on inspection in May 1954 by the Road Commission
was found in excellent condition,
Second Section - Taksony - DunakisvarsanW - Majoshiza - Aporka - KiskunlachAza -
Ddfms6d,
The width is the same as in the first section-,but the surface
is said to be macadam with a "Topeka" surface.
Third Section - DOms8d - Tass - Szalkaszentm&rton - Vadasi csirda - Dunavecse
Dunaegyhiza - Solt - Harts.
As far-as Solt9 the road is only 6 meters wide and has a stone
bed with a "Topeka's surface. From Solt to Harta it has a
concrete surface,
