Representatives of the Agency who have visited the Army War
College have noted that the material as se mbled for the class includes
suggested readings on intelligence and the Central Intelligence Agency.
It occurred to us that it might be of sortie assistance if we provided
you with what we consider to be a bibliography listing a representative
selection of reasonably accurate publications on these subjects. Our
Office of Training has prepared such a bibliographt and it is enclosed
herewith.
We would also be happy to furnish the Army War College with
bibliographies in specialised fields such as cou-nterinsurgeency, guerrilla
re, espionage, etc. The CIA has *crooned all such publications
ee public r edia over the years and is in a position, we believe. to
provide a reasonably accurate analysis of the literature which can be
classified as valuable. Trusting this will be of some use to you.
