Tiener Neustadt airfield was occupied by 6 single,- gi.nF,^ planes parked
near.the. flight control station and 38 MiG-1 5s, including 6 alon the
edge of the woods near the pyrotechnic plant and 32 in the area, 'between
the flight control station and the railroad stop Woellersdorfor $trasse,
as far as the signboard., loo twin-jet planes were observed at the field.
There was a 10/10 overcast, visit slit r of about 1~ 'km, and a northerly
wind of at:out 6 km/h,. Individual local flights were nade by 1 i0.15x9
which taxied under their oim power to the take-off point e.rid circled over
th6 field for about 5 mtinutes. Individual take-miffs were r: acid it two

18 February. Individual take-offs were rade at interva? s of about
3C minutes. Air activity was discontinued at 4 p.m. According to the
official weather repoc?t, there was a 10/10 overcas?, a westerly wind of
about 40 km/h, visibility of up to 12 kpn, and a cloud bass at an altitude
of 1,500 meters.

for the first tire south- of the railroad stop Woellers dorfor Str?essea About
10 men were observed near the ,guns.
4. Pe:tween 4:30 and 5 p.m. on 1 September, no aircraft were observes in front
of the hangar at T eresienf'eld airfield,,

Ooir. o :tt is believed that Wiener: Neustadt airfield is still occupied
by two fighter regiments. In additioh to the previously known gun emplace
rrents along Badener Strasso and on the : uthiern ec ge of the field, a third
group of four AA gun emp cenents was established on the scutthe-.u tern edge of
the field.
