Report on H. R. 7935, amendments o ie a Labor Standards Act? She
stated that the report extended minimum wage and overtime pay to Federal
employees. The impact of this action at this time was not clear; however,
the Commission will have to conduct a cleWied review of all positions within
Government to determine coverage and exemptions. Since the CSC is authorized
to administer coverage of the Fair Labor Standards Act to Federal employees,
she felt that the guidelines in existing CSC regulations undoubtedly will be
closel followed wherever possible. Admendments to the Act were discussed
with PG C.
