In confirmation of our oral understanding, DD/S will assume
responsibility for the Executive Mesa effective 1 June 1966. Pend-
ing the transfer of the appropriate personnel from the Office of the
Director to DD/S, all personnel now engaged in the operation of the
Mass have been instructed to give the fullest support to ensure the
orderly transfer of this important responsibility.
