Approved For Release 2002/07/29 : CIA-RDP80B01676R00050012000 -', 1/93/ 17 November 1966 MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director for Support The Vice President's office continues to call my office to make requests for transportation for other than the early morning run to which we have agreed. I understand that it has not been possible for you to gat together with Don this matter, but I would like to ask you to do so with- out further delay. We of course want to be of service to the Vice President, but I think we must have some understanding as to the limit of this service. We seem to have an increasing num- ber of demands at all hours of the day when lie away and is substituting for him. In fact, several times recently I have been without transportation because of urgent calls from or someone else in Mr. office. It is also my Understanding that at least some part of the chauffeur's time is being used for courier runs and personal service, which is not consistent with my understanding I am sure that George will understand the problem and will be most anxious to straighten it out. When their transportation requirements are determined, I would like to have them levy their requests on someone other than my office. /S/ TR. K.
