guns and 7 trucks an 20 September; and a train of 4 "3 with soldiers

soldiers x 122-mm field howitzers and 214 trucks,
went from Jueterbog to Halle.

Comment. The troop trains carried components of the 7th Gds
.v which returned to their home stations after termination of
the summer training and fall maneuvers of the division. Their arrival
has been previously reported.

Comment. The troop trains possibly carried tank units of
the h Mecz Div to the assembly area southwast of Cottbus
from which the fall maneuvers of the division started. The
shipment of additional units from the Peitz railroad station
to the above area appears probable. Since the retux_ of these
tank contingents to their winter quarters was reported from
Jueterbog after termination of the maneuvers on 28 aid 29
September 1954, it is doubted that the troop trains operated

Comment. The shuttle-train numbers make the following comments
