Two RiO-15s were towed by one truck each from the flight control station
to the dispersal area on the southwestern edge of the field. One man sat
on the fuselage in front of the cabin o"? each MUG--15. . Air activity was
resumed at about 10:15 aom, Take-offs and landings were made in south-
north direction although there was a light westerly wind. The following
take-offs and landings were observed

The landings were made with extended split flap. t.t.11 a.m., four M71IG-15s
in echelon formation to the right flew over the field in north-south direc-
tion at a high altitude. No aircraft were observed in front of the hangar
which was closed. Near the hangar there were some .trucks and van-like trucks
The sentries wore black-bordered blue epaulets.
2. Between 12:45 and 1:20 p.m. on 22 February, individual flights were made
by MiG-15s.: There was a 10/10 overcast, visibility of about 15 km and
a northwesterly wind of about 10 kmAA . air 25X1
activity by 1.xiG-15s was observed throughout the days on 23 and 24, Fe ruaxro
Night flying was heard on 24 February up to midnight.
Between 8 a.m..and 2 p.m. on 2? February, 32 MiG-15s, 2 single-engine 25X1
planes with. radial engines and I biplane were observed at the field, There
was air activity by MiG-15s which took off individually, in elements of
two or in formations of three. The sky was 3/10 overcast at an altitude
of about 2,500 meters. There was a nor-,';h-northeasterly wind of about
10 kea/t and good visibility. fft about noon, a MiG-15 plane towing a sleeve
target was observed over the field. The sleeve target which was about 100
meters aft of the plane had about the sane length and circumference of fuse-
lage of a NiG-15 plane. It was not observed that 'ii-15 planes approached
the air sleeve.
Six trucks were narked near the AA gun emplacement along Badener Stressa.
AA guns with flash hiders were observed in the AA gun emplacement east
of th row of red spotli ts. Motor vehicles observed included van-like
truck and truck in the open garage at the field and
truck end weapon carrier ear the flight control station.
5. A:number of telephone lines extended to the Artillerie Kaserne coming from
the direction of the field and the southern edge of the field. Six buried
cables led through the barracks wall to the southwestern corner of the
barracks installation. This spot was apparently inspected by two officers
who wore blue epaulets. A van-like truck was observed in a wooden shed in
the western section of the center of the barracks yard. An antenna rod
projected from the shed. Next to the shed there was a wooden mast with a
lateral antenna rod from which a wire extended to the van-like truck. A
radio truck with three rod antennas was observed in the yard east of this
instal lation G
6. Motor vehicles observed in the yard and in the garages of the Nachrichten
Kaserne included 5 tank trucks, 16 trucks, 4 van-like trucks. -I ee and
3 trucks with superstructures. The following wen

Motor vehicles observed in Wiener Neustadt included
driver wearing black bordered red epaulets and driving school
trucks driver wearing red-bordered black epaulets
and assistant driver wearing black-bordered blue epaulets,
driver wearing black-bordered blue epaulets.
Cor.cento Wiener Neustadt is still occupied by two fighter
regivents. Air activity observed at Wiener Neustadt airfield
corresponds with the flight training by the fighter regirent in
Parndorf~
