1. On 22 January 1964, the Director of Central Intelligence gave a
presentation to the North Atlantic Council under the security pro-
visions of CM(62)50 (Final), 7 May 1963. The United States Representa-
tive to the Military Committee and Standing Group, NATO has requested
that the substance of this presentation be authorized for release
to the Military Representative, Military Committee in Permanent
Session.
2. If the substance of this presentation may be released, it is
requested that the presentation with such instructions as you deem
appropriate be furnished the Defense Intelligence Agency for trans-
mission to the United States Representative, Standing Group, NATO.
