in providing support to this Agency in connection with
support matters during his assignment in the Office of Special Operations,
Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, and subsequently whij.,
in the Defense Intelligence Agency. These assignments cover the
period 15 October 1961 to date. Colonell has been the primary
contact point for Department of Defense support of CIA operations
ani be has repeatedly interceded on our behalf in obtaining the requested
support. The support rendered to the Central Intelligence Agency by
Catronel in connection with the Cuban crisis, the build-up fn
