Gentlemen:
1. This document constitutes Amendment No. 5 to Con-
tract No. 81-450 between the parties hereto and said contract,
as amended, is further amended as hereinafter set forth.
2. The parties hereto have negotiated and agreed upon
additional items of work and/or changes to the items presently
called for under Exhibit "A" of the contract. Said work is set
forth herein below at a total increase in Contract Price of
$781,620.00.
3. Paragraph A. of Exhibit YA" SCOPE OP WORK is amended
by adding the following new items ther-*"Vo: ~
44 "Item 15 - Contractor shall fabricate three (3) Stell
-~V Indexing Cameras of increased capacity including s
data blocks and transit cases in accordance with Contractor'sM'

$66,611.66 and a total price of $199,835.00.
Item 16 - Contractor shall incorporate the provisions of
Technical Directive.No. Ill in three of the Stellar/Indexing
Cameras called for under Item 10 of the contract. The price
for this item is included in Item 15 above.
Item 17 - Contractor shall design and develop and fabri-
cate ten (10) each increased capacity cassettes for use on
Items 10 and 15 above in accordance with Technical Directive

Item 19 - Contractor)shall conduct a study and submit
report on methods of improving or precisely defining the
geometry of panoramic phetsgraphy obtained with "W" style
cameras in accordance with Technical Directive No. 110, said
document being incorporated herein by reference, at a total
price of $27,905.00.
Item 20 - Contractor shall modify five (5) "11" type
;cellar/Indexing Cameras in order that they may be accoao-
~~- dated in the "J" type system at a unit price of $2,318.60 and
a total price of $11,593.00.
d.~_..i Item 21 - Contractor shall design and fabricate eighteen
(18) radiation sh**ids for the Stellar/Indexing caaerac in Q
accordance with Technical Directive No. 102 at a total price*
of $12,195.00.
,J,,V'1 ~~~ Item 22 - Contractor shall fabricate and deliver the
;S- spare parts set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and
made a part of this contract at a total price of $23,077.00.
Item 23 - In accordance with Contracting Officer authori-
zation in Message No. 3447, dated 7 July 1962, Contractor was
directed to fabricate six (6) each single Frame Cameras identi-
cal to units delivered with "Y" system No. 1 through 12. By
direction of the Contracting Officer on 1 August 1962 Contractor
was directed to cease fabrication of the single Frame Units and
in lieu thereof proceed with the Stellar/Indexing Units called
for under Item 8 utilizing all residual and common parts. As a
result of this redirection, the parties hereto have negotiated
and agreed upon the cost of work and materials wade obsolete
by said changes and upon submission of a properly certified
invoice, Contractor shall be paid the sum of $40,015.00.
Item 24 - Contractor shall incorporate the changes at .,ia:lam
forth in Technical DirectiveNo. 95 effective en-nineteen (19)
system called for under Item 2 and 12 (11-9 thru 11-27) at a
unit -price of $331.58 and a total price of $6,300.00.
4. Paragraph B. DELIVERY, of Exhibit "A" as mended
by adding the following now items thereto:

It.. 17 - The T. D. shall be effective on certain of the
units called for under Items 10 and 15 and delivery in accord-
ance therewith.
Item 18 - Contractor shall deliver the experimental systems
as follows:
(1) each on or before 4 April 1963

It.. 19 - Contractor shall complete the study and submit
a final report on or before 30 June 1963.
item 20 - Contractor shall modify the five (5) 8/I Systems
and delivery shall be made on or before 30 June 1983.
It.. 21 - Contractor shall deliver the eighteen (18)
radiation shields forthwith upon receipt of this Amendment.
Item 22 - Contractor shall deliver the spare parts forth-
with upon receipt of this Amendment.
It.. 23 - Contractor shall submit DD Form 543 together
with statement of costs and invoice forthwith. Item 24 - Change shall be effected on units indicated
in Item 24 and delivered with Item 2 and 12.
5. As a result of the fotogoing, the Contract is further
amended by revising PART ZV to the Schedule as follows:
a. "PART XV - C098IDERATION AND PAYKENT
a. The total contract target price for Items
1 through 6, 8 and 9 Exhibit "A" to the Schedule is
$12,610,850 subject to the provisions of the clause
hereof entitled "PART XII - INCENTIVE PRICE REVISION"
and the provisions of the clause h76r--*Of entitled T
XVI - LIMITATION OF GOVSR1fli OBLXOATION. "
b. The total estimated cost for Item 7 to the
Schedule $510,000.00 said amount behg allotted hereunder
and subject to PART XVI of the Schedule.
c. The total contract price for items 10, 11, 12, 13,
14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of Exhibit "A" to
the Schedule is $3,043,086.00 subject to the provision of the

mance of this contract the sum of $14,156,883.00 subject to the
provisions of PART XVI of the Schedule."
6. PART XVI - LIMITATIOND OF GOYSRNKENT8 OBLIGATION of
the Schedule is amended as follows:
(a) The figures "$13,375,263.00" appearing in the first
sentence of paragraph (d) are deleted and in lieu substitute
the figures "$14,156,883.00." %
(b) The words and figures "30 April 1963" appearing in
the first sentence of paragraph (3) are deleted and in lieu
thereof substitute the words and figures "30 June 1963."
7. All other terms, conditions and requirements of Con-
tract No. 88.450 remain unchanged.
8. Please indicate your receipt of this Amendment No. 5
to Contract No. 88-450 and your acceptance thereof by executing
the original and one copy of this amendment to the undersigned
and retain the remaining copy for your files.
