C. 20505 During the period of late August 1963 to early March 1965, from your Office of Training was assigned to the Defense Intelligence School DIS) as liaison officer. I should like to take this opportunity to commend to you the outstanding service which he performed for both the School and the Defense Intelligence Agency (MA) during his tenure in this position. brought to the assignment a background rich in both the operational and training aspects of intelligence. As such his contribu- tions to the varied DIS academic program were numerous and beneficial. In addition, by virtue of the fact that he had participated in all phases of your agency's junior officer training program, he as able to provide invaluable assistance in the initial planning of a college grad- uate analyst course which is now being developed by the School for DIA. Because of his untiring efforts at improving the DIS curricula; his dedication toward securing outstanding guest speaker support from your agency; his cooperative attitude to all members of the school faculty, staff and student body; and last but not least his ever present sense of humor; will be missed by all who came into contact c: ith him.
