14 The directorate of the Electric Power Enterprise, National Corporation is lo-
cated in Prague VII Holesovice, Street of the Partisans. This directorate
governs the production and distribution of electric power by the Middle-Bohem-
ian (Stredooeske) power plants.
2. The general director of this enterprise is Mr (fnu) S'ta, . The power plants
which are under the direction of the Electric Power Enterprise are the most
important in Bohemia and supply electric power to most of the industrial
enterprises in Bohemia.
3: The power plant in Prague VII-Holesovice supplies the metropolitan area of
Prague? In the event that this power plant should be eliminated ?crr some
reason,, the metropolitan area of Prague and the city of Prague itself would
be without electricity as the auxiliary power plants connected with the Prague
network are unable to .iipply the necessary amount of electricity. Steam pro-
duced in the power plant in Prague VII - Holesovice which has no% been entirely
consumed is condensed or used for, long-distance heating.
4. The following power plants are under the administration of the directorate

Power plant in Prague VII. - it:alesovi?e, located at the corner of "U Kra-
lovske Obory"' and "Partisans;a" .
(b) Hydroelectric plant in Vlrane, built on the dam on the 4 lda?.1 River. This
power plant is a steel and oounrete construction with three water turbines
with an output of 22,OOO KW13.

turbines with an output of 45,000 KW.

is located in the vicinity of tba 8techovice dam near Slapy village and
will be finished in 1913.

(f) Steam-powered power plant in Kolin, located on the right bank of the Elbe
River and on the left side of the double-track railway of the Czechoslovak
State Railroads, Kolin - Velky 0sek. This plant is a concrete and-brick
building, has steam turbines and a capacity of $0,000 KWH.
(g) Power plant of the Poldi Hut in Kladno, located in the Poldi Plant; a con-
crete and brick building with steam boilers and three turbines with the cap-
acity of 30,000 KWH. In addition to that, the plant has another auxiliary
power plant for emergency cases.
(h) Steam-powered power plant in Drazice, located on the right bank of the Jiz-
era.River near the village of Draziee. This plant is a brick building has
three turbines, and a capacity of 32,000 KWH.' Coal for the power plant is
supplied through the railway station in Horky, located north of the village
of Drazice.

(a) Cabinetmaker's workshop which makes office furniture,.bodies for cars,
and takes care of all wood repairs in the plant.. The workshop has the
following equipment: four planing machines, three lathes, two grinding
machines, three band saws,
(b) Forge where the poles for street lights and various tools for building
constriction are made,
(c) Plumber's workshop where armature plates are made and all plumbing work
is done. The equipment of the workshop is as follows: five bending
machines and one autogenous wilding machine.
