Former CBS television reporter Dan-
iel Schorr said today that his source
in uncovering a covert CIA operation
in Angola, was the late Rep. Leon J.
Ryan of California.
Schorr said Ryan, who was shot and
killed in Guyana Nov. 18 while on a
fact-finding trip to the Peoples Tem-
ple commune in Jonestown, gave him
