MEMORANDUM FOR: The Director
I have discussed this designation with
Mr. Kirkpatrick and Mr. Bross together,
and later informally with Mr. Coyne.
Although Mr. Bross is no more enthusiastic
than one normally is to have additional
duties, he could see the logic of his
selection and is quite prepared to take
on this Job. Mr. Kirkpatrick is in favor
of it. Mr. Coyne indicated that it was
satisfactory with him, although I did not
put him in the position of approving or
disapproving. I simply did him the
courtesy of letting him know the direction
of our thinking.
