1. Action Requested: That you ascertain from Mrs. Carter ~vhetti-=-

2. Background: At the request of~Mr. Robert Pastor of the Nati'.r~al
Security Council Staff, I arranged to have the Office of Regional and
Political Research (ORPA), the Office of Economic Research (OER}, an.~
