for Addi
tional UMY-20 Recorders
1. Preliminary testing of the UMY-20 Recorder Kit,
released to this project by you during the first week of
this month, have indicated that the recorder is suitable
for our needs.
2. To equip the project to fulfill mission require-
ments, an additional three (3) kits will be required. It
is understood that five (5) kits are presently in for
rework and updating. It is realized that other operational
projects are to be equipped with these recorders and that
this project must compete with these other projects for
priority in securing the kits.
3. As the urgency of the operational requirements
and conditions for use have been outlined in previous
:or~s~~rc:v ce they will not be repeated. I solicit your
assistance in obtaining these kits for use in this very
important project.
