Participation in the symposium is by invitation only and is strictly limited to 125 Washington government policy makers. Invitations are not transferable; however, if you cannot join us, you may use the enclosed form to recommend someone to be among the 125 participants. Support for this Symposium is being provided by the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Energy, Commerce, Interior, and Housing and Urban Development. "The Possible Society" symposium leaders will be Jean Houston, Donald Michael, Walt Anderson, George Leonard, Jerry Fletcher, and Hazel Henderson. They will present their views of our changing society and explore with you and other participants the possible.ways to meet America's new needs and expectations. A complete agenda, along with information about the symposium leaders is enclosed. NIPA will cover all basic costs, including meals and lodging. You need only be responsible for your transportation. Please return the enclosed form as soon as possible. The reply deadline has been extended to April 3, 1979. Again, because of the size of the Tidewater Inn, we are absolutely limited to 125 participants. Once that number is reached, we will be obliged to close off any future registrations. We look forward to your joining us in April to discuss, "The Possible Society."
