1. ,An order placed with VEB Carl Zeiss Jena for 4,000 ,field glasses to be delivered
in 1953 to Albania, was cancelled; the Buero fuer Wirtschaftsfragen then offered
to buy the glasses instead of Albania. 1 The original order for delivery to
Albania was revalidated in early March 1953.
2. The first thousand glasses will be delivered to Albania by the end of March
1953, They are of the 7 x 50 type (50 power ication,, light gathering
power 49).
